About Wispr
Wispr is building a faster, more intuitive way to interact with your devices, starting with Flow, its flagship AI voice app. Unlike traditional dictation tools, Flow adapts as you speak, removing filler words, structuring your thoughts, and formatting text automatically, all while working seamlessly across any app.
Built to replace the keyboard, Flow is already helping thousands of users cut their daily typing time nearly in half across both mobile and desktop. After six months, the average user types 72% of their characters with Flow across nearly 70 apps and sites.
Wispr’s mission is to make technology more conversational–reducing screen time, context-switching, and cognitive overload, and helping people spend more time on what matters. Based in San Francisco, Wispr has raised $56M from investors including Menlo Ventures, NEA, and 8VC.

Earlier, he built Convert, a music discovery platform that grew to more than 2.5 million organic monthly active users.
Tanay holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford, where he taught the university’s Deep Learning course alongside Prof. Andrew Ng and published research at the Stanford AI Lab. He also served as President of the Stanford Venture Capital Club for three years. In 2023, he was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.

He led development of the company’s first system architecture, working across machine learning, photonics, and digital engineering teams to define the product from the ground up.
Sahaj holds a degree in engineering from Stanford, where he was awarded the Henry Ford II Scholar Award, the highest academic achievement in the School of Engineering. While there, he was a research assistant at the Stanford AI Lab, where he worked with Prof. Andrew Ng and published research in generative modeling. He also published work with Google Research and Columbia Psychiatry, and began his academic career in computational neuroscience, analyzing how SSRI antidepressants affect early brain development.
