Do I need to already use Flow?
No. Anyone can join the Android waitlist, whether you’re new to Wispr Flow or already use it on another device.
Does Flow work offline?
Flow requires an internet connection to transcribe your speech with the fastest models. Offline mode is not currently supported.
How will the Android version be different from using Flow on iOS?
Wispr Flow on Android doesn’t use a keyboard like iOS. It uses a floating bubble you can tap from anywhere. It works across all apps automatically, detects text fields, and doesn’t require switching keyboards. Android’s system permissions give Flow more flexibility, so the experience feels faster, more seamless, and more powerful than what’s possible on iOS.
How will the Android version be different from using Flow on desktop?
On desktop, you activate Flow with a hotkey to dictate into any text field. On Android, Flow appears as a floating bubble you can tap from anywhere. It works on top of your apps, detects text fields automatically, and is designed for fast, on-the-go dictation. However, the core Flow dictation experience will be the same.
